Not following the suggested topics though, because I see more esoteric meaning in the degrees. Also, I have been learning about gematria, qabalah, and tarot and I am seeing alot of correlations, especially b/c of Pike's additions to the degrees' symbolism.

Definitely alot harder, more time consuming, but incredibly gratifying!

Enjoy guys!

I think MCII is for creating a new generation of thinking masons-- scholars for the 21st century.

I am having a blast!

    Author: Mikhail
Subject: A Prayer Request For An Important Job Change
Posted: November/21/2009 at 10:32am

Brothers, Sisters, and forum friends, I ask for your prayers concerning a matter of great personal importance.

I am currently waiting on the results of my bid for an AM route at my occupation. For over 4 years, when I was forced to relocate to another FedEx station due to seniority, I have patiently waited and prayed to have an opportunity to secure a daytime position at my current location, which 2 years ago I was fortunate enough to return to after my previous transfer. Although I will be taking a pay cut in order to accomplish this, it is well worth it to me, and even more so for my family. I'm currently a PM swing courier, meaning I have no set route; I instead cover unoccupied routes due to an absent courier for whatever reason, or I float around in between routes helping those who are heavy on stops. That means I have an unpredictable daily schedule, starting between 12:30-1:30p and usually the earliest I get off is around 8:00p if lucky. Having been Raised in July, making monthly meetings requires strategic planning days in advance, and even then it's not a guarantee that I will make it, and I miss out on the classes held by the GL, which I would really like to be a part of, allowing me to become more active within my GL.

But more importantly, this is about my wife and kids. My wife is currently in her final year in Nursing School, and her upcoming clinicals are in the same timeframe as my shift. I have 3 kids, ages 3,4, and 8, in which we have to make elaborate plans in order to have someone watch them while we are both gone. She is very stressed. She's recently had to see a doctor about her fatigue, finding out that her blood pressure was high, among other things, and is on medication. I feel helpless, because my shift doesn't allow her to get the time she needs to study properly, as the kids are in constant need of attention, causing her many distractions, and constant worry about her tests.

As it stands right now, with the help of winning a dispute over FedEx policy, I am currently the top bid in securing the route, and although I can still be outbid, a consensus has given word that no one above me will bid(including 2 people that won't bid just so I can get the route; true friends). I haven't even informed my wife of my current status(or even that the route is up for bid) because I don't want to get her hopes up on something that isn't finalized. The bidding ends Wednesday, so hopefully I will receive an offer letter by the end of next week if successful...I will update the post as soon as I get the results.
In my jurisdiction , to me at least, a brother is highly respected when he continously works hard for his blue lodge , and sort of 'pick-a-fav' of the other houses. There is SO much to learn in the Blue Lodge, which is really the "Heart & Soul" of Freemasonry and personally, the only real way to learn is go through the "chairs" and become WM of the Lodge, so then you can as a PM, pass that knowledge on to those who are coming up in the Lodge.

I've yet to be WM of my Lodge, but according to my "crystal ball", it's not that far away.
