Brothers,
My degree coach worked with me an hour a day for 90 days to get me through the degrees. Naturally we developed a great relationship. Alvin is 78 and has been an instructor for many years. After I was raised and I came back into the lodge and sat down, Alvin said, "Let me see your hand." I presented my hand and he slipped a beautiful old Masonic Ring on my finger. He said to me, "I have no son and I want you to have my Father's ring." Tears welled in my eyes. All I could say was, 'Thank you and I will wear it with pride." You could have knocked me over with a feather. What an honor. I now wear the ring in remembrance of Louis Marvin Knight b. 1903 d. 1978. Past Master of Oriental Lodge #20. Dave |

I think that WOW says it all! What a wonderful mentor and brother he must be. I am sure that you will think of your mentor whenever you look at the ring.

That is a very touching story; and that ring is priceless. Hopefully you can pass the ring to your son and tell him that story.
