Its that time again. Time for our Lodges annual party.
Super Bowl Sunday is only three days away. Who is everyone pulling for? I'm going with the Eagles. Edited by De Darrah - February/02/2018 at 10:17am |

I'll be cheering for the Eagles, after all they are on the other side of the state from me---fellow Pennsylvanians. I never have been a fan or supporter of the Patriots. Of course it goes without saying that whenever the Eagles play the Steelers, I am cheering for the Steelers. I'm very disappointed that we are not one of the teams in the super bowl.

I'm just watching for the commercials. I don't care who wins. I'm not a football fan.

Super Bowl tickets I know it's late notice, but a friend of mine has two tickets for the Super Bowl in Minneapolis at the new U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, February 4th. They are box seats and he paid $3,500 per ticket, which includes the ride to and from the airport, lunch, dinner, a $400.00 bar tab and a pass to the winners locker room after the game. What he didn't realize when he bought them last year was that it's on the same day as his WEDDING. If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place. It's at St. Paul's Church at 3:00pm. Her name is Ashley. She's 5'4", about 115 pounds, a good cook, loves to fish and hunt and will clean your truck. She'll be the one in the white dress. De, this is submitted in homage to your many similar stories... May even be that you've already posted it, or a near variation. Anyhow, to all..... Enjoy the game and remember.. Life is too short to spend any of it drinking cheap beer.

Few days late here. Our Lodge used to do a SB party. We did not do one the past few years because we were not getting the draw we wanted.
People just wanted to stay home with family vs. trudging out to the Lodge. |
