Avatars...why did you chose it?

I chose a S&C that I didnt see anyone else with. I chose the S&C because it is a common Masonic symbol that is acceptable to display.

Mine was chosen just because I loved the short film it came from.  When I had my own forums I had about a hundred of them over the past four years.  I like to have fun with it.

Mine actually developed as kind of an inside joke within this forum.

I like mine because it looks somewhat mystical... a Brother emerging from darkness. It also displays patience, and wisdom.

I think mine is the most violent on the forum!  I chose this because I'm always on a quest to learn to subdue my passions.  I think we all are.  One of the things that I constantly have to subdue is my temper.  I usually don't get angry at posts, but I still have dial up as high speed isn't available in my area yet.  In fact, my avatar isn't even animated on my home computer.  That does get me aggravated!  On a lighter note, I simply think it is a hilarious avatar.  So, in fine, it is a mixture of comedy and the seriousness of our common goal of learning to subdue our passions.  That, and the fact that tm274 has informed me that I can never, never, NEVER change my avatar!

Mine is of PGM Joseph Carter Corbin; third GM of PHGL of Arkansas. One of my favorites among Arkansas Prince Hall masonry, so I picked it as my avatar.
