Do any lodges use a Jacob's ladder during an initiation? I have seen some lodge that have a small approximately 1 foot high ladder that has the symbols of Faith, Hope, and Charity on it and they use it during initiation for instruction of the new brother. Alternatively, does anyone know where a person could purchase one of these?

I have visited lodges in Ontario and it is used there. Maybe the best place to try to find one would be through businesses that sell Masonic regalia. Jacob's Ladder is not used in PA.

Here in Arkansas, it's used in the 3rd section, or lecture, of the EA degree.  I typically use a powerpoint slide with that paragraph, but a friend who has developed a more "3D" presentation uses a set of three plaques with the terms inscribed upon them.  I personally like  the slide, as it invokes the old "Sunday school lesson" and links it to its Masonic use.  But it really is more of an issue of presentation, and what works best for you.

Someone in your lodge with woodworking skills could build a ladder.
