I just mailed off my Master Craftsman II Quiz 1 with the 2 required essays. I thought this one was harder than the first one. It should have been. Is anyone else taking the second MC and if so did you think it was harder? Can't wait for the next one to get here!

Just finished quiz 1 myself. Looks like this won't be an easy 3-month journey like the first round.

I called Lois at the SJ. She explained that this time it is 9 quizes instead of 6 like MCI

I was able to use an essay from my College of Consistery course. Both seem very interchangeable.

Have fun guys

I just finished quiz 2.  It covers the 6th, 7th and 8th degrees, with 3 essays to be written.  I feel it is harder than MC1, You have to really think, the answers aren't word for word with the book.  You really have to read the material and think !!

Just finished essays for test 2 as well. Not following the suggested topics though, because I see more esoteric meaning in the degrees. Also, I have been learning about gematria, qabalah, and tarot and I am seeing alot of correlations, especially b/c of Pike's additions to the degrees' symbolism.

Definitely alot harder, more time consuming, but incredibly gratifying!

Enjoy guys!

I think MCII is for creating a new generation of thinking masons-- scholars for the 21st century.
