I'm getting ready to start epidoral steroid injections into my back for sciatica and two herniated discs and degenerative disc disease. Doc's say if it doesn't take I might have to have a vertibre fusion surgery. Oh Lord, please don't let them up and stick the wrong spots! This much pain, faith and a good sense of humor is always a good thing I think.

I will say a prayer. I feel your pain. I have two painful degenerated disks myself. I have resisted any intervention due to the horror of the several procedures/surgeries my mother has gone though. I would just prefer to hurt rather than be crippled.

I've heard and read the horror stories as well. I told them if the injections don't help, I'll just have to live with the pain. It's my L3-L4 and L4-L5. To many people had the surgeries and came out worse, no thank you! Thanks for the prayers bro!
