Bretheran

One of our MM was on a business trip to the east coast and while there opted to visit a Lodge and learn and see how it is done in their part of the world.

Bro. Rick Thompson from Meramec Lodge #313 Eureka Missouri visited Springfield #217 in Springfield VA, I believe it was last week one day.

He sent me photos of the Brothers after the meeting and told me what a great time he had. Last night at our regular meeting he did a 15 minute Masonic Education talk about his visit. He was very impressed with the bretheran there, and showed us the differences in our ritual.

He is not on this forum, but I wanted to express our thanks [Meramec Lodge] for welcoming our Brother and treating him as such. Thank you so much. If I ever get up that way, I coming to visit also.

It is always great to visit other Lodges when one has the opportunity.    Keep it up.

Visiting other jurisdictions is great and visitation of one of our Masonic privileges. I have visited several lodges in Ontario, Canada while there on vacation and have ALWAYS received a very warm welcome!
