Newly raise Masons joining a forum usually do so to learn, be patient and learn.    The GLs of the USA are of varied Constitutions.  Our Ritual, lectures, and practices are not all the same as most of you were lead to believe.

Being 'regular', only indicates 'certain' basic elements of a GL, Lodge and its ritual & lectures are accepted as being universally the same as other recognized GLs.  This does not mean that ALL parts of a ritual and lectures are the same for every GL & Lodge.  Because of this, Forums ARE NOT the place to learn Freemasonry and Ritual as taught by YOUR GL.

As a Newly Raised Master Mason, you still have a lot to learn.  The Catechism of the degree is not all there is to know.   ... It is NOT good to start telling 20 & 30 plus Master Masons how to be a Mason; how to practice Masonry; or his Ritual is wrong. You will not like the results.

There are certain practices which seem to be specific to some GLs.  These practices tend to be 'frat like' and borderline hazing.  If these practice are condoned by your Lodge & GL; they are not condoned or practiced by most other GLs.  Again, these are GL differences of which you should be aware of.

If you are going to be Offended when a forum member states 'we don't do it that way';  then you should just spend more time in your Lodge for Masonic education rather than joining a Forum.
