| My wife's cousin and her husband owned a Harley dealership. When I first started riding we talked a about a Sporster. She said a 1200 was fine but would absolutely refuse to sell me an 883 because they were seriously under-powered. That's all I can tell you. Never rode an 883 or a 1200. |

Well I currently ride a 600cc honda shadow...which I don't really feel is "underpowered." Maybe that's just because I haven't been on a bigger bike. Either way, I'm not trying to race anyone or set any speed records. I just want a reliable motorcycle to ride around town and occasionally on the highway on the weekends. ------------- Gainesville Lodge #41 |
