I was listening to NPR the other day when they said researchers had found the world's funniest joke. Here it is:

Two hunters are in the woods when one collapses and lay motionless on the ground. In a panic, his companion takes out his cell phone and dials 911.

911: "What is your emergency?"

Hunter: "My friend just fell down! I think he's dead! I don't know what to do!"

911: "Ok, calm down. First let's make sure he's dead."

Hunter: silence... footsteps... the sound of a gun shot.... "OK, now what?"
