An old woman comes up to the hitching post and ties her mule off.

As she is standing there brushing dust and dirt from her face and hair, a gunslinger comes out of the tavern
brandishing a revolver and a bottle of whiskey, and says" Hey old woman, have you ever danced?"

The old woman looks at him and says " Never have  danced, never saw the need"

The gunslinger gets a big grin on his face, and says " well your gonna start dancing now" and begins to shoot at her feet.  The old woman starts dancing like crazy not wanting to get her toes shot off.  He finally runs out of ammunition, when he turns around and heads back for the bar.  The woman turns to her pack mules, and retrieves a double barreled shotgun and cocks both hammers.  The silence is deadening, the crowd stops laughing  and there is all quiet in the street.   The cowboy turns around and is staring down those two large barrels of shotgun and he is dumbstruck.

The woman's hands never shake or waver, and she says " Hey  butthead, have you ever kissed a mules ass?"  and he responds,  "No mam, but I have always wanted to!!"

The lessons to be learned here:
Never be arrogant
Don't waste ammunition
Whiskey makes you think you are smarter than you really are
Always make sure you know who has the power
Don't mess with old people, they didn't get that way from being stupid
