Happy Thanks giving Brothers & Sister ...

I just put my turkey into the roaster oven at 180 deg F for the night after being in a slow grill/smoker (pecan wood) for 2 hours. The skin is a light golden brown now and will be a dark mahogany brown by morning and very moist & juicy with internal temp of 165 deg to 180 deg F. Total cooking time about 12 to 14 hrs. ... nothing to to do now but wait. ... Dinner at 12 noon.

Sounds delicious!!! I'm having thanksgiving dinner with a long time friend and his wife. Even with the pandemic I think we all have much to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
